On the nose it shows a great balance between complexity, freshness and well-integrated oak, highlighting savoury notes, fresh butter, lemon fruit and wet stone fruit flavours. On the palate it shows itself as rich and elegant, with excellent concentration and multilayeredness. Mineral notes, hazelnuts, tree fruits and citrines are evident. Long, persistent finish with firm acidity. This wine is currently at a very interesting time for consumption, but will certainly age very well in the coming years.

Description

Pairs well with: fish, white meat or lightly breaded pasta

Grape variety: Avesso

Vinification: Hand harvesting followed by de-stemming, maceration of the skins and gentle pneumatic pressing. Must fermented in French oak barrels, aged for about a year.

The 2019 vintage gave rise to slightly more acidic wines with lower alcohol levels. This wine is currently at a very interesting time in terms of drinking, but will surely age very well in the coming years.
