The Barolo "Ravera" is an extraordinary wine based on grapes from the 50-year-old Ravera vineyard and the meticulous and passionate work of Ferdinando Principiano. The colour of the wine is a relatively distinctive garnet shade. The nose is rich and complex, with notes of red fruits, herbs, liquorice, balsamic and a subtle minerality. On the palate, you can feel the wine's admirable structure, combined with a pleasant freshness and refined tannins. The palate is beautifully balanced, not lacking in charm and elegance and is very long.
