Alteo Amarone is the flagship wine of the Fasoli winery. It offers the perfect balance between the power and richness of traditional Amarone and elegant finesse on the palate. Only the finest grapes are selected for Alteo and allowed to dry for six months. They are then fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in oak barrels for at least three years. The result is a wonderful Amarone, with intense aromas of raisins, black pepper, coffee and vanilla. On the palate, the texture is rich and soft with a full body, smooth tannins and ripe dark fruit flavours that culminate in a very long finish. This is an ideal wine to serve on a special occasion.
