Wild rose is the correct name for this natural wine. Unfined, unfiltered and minimally sulphurous. A nice analogy to the rose hip (or wild rose) when it stands on the edge of the vineyards. Spicy and yeasty on the nose, reminiscent of brioche. You can see the intentionally unfiltered fill in the glass due to the yeasty haze. Soft grape tannins with fine acidity from the 2019 vintage on the palate, elegant and somewhat creamy on the finish.

Grown in the loess vineyards in the south of Langenlois.

The healthy and crisp Grüner Veltliner grapes were harvested by hand. The whole berries were fermented for about 20 days on the mash. This was followed by a gentle separation of the wine, which completed fermentation in a used oak barrel and after 18 months it was bottled unfiltered.
