Bulgarian modern winemaking is linked to the 1990s and the collapse of the socialist bloc. Vineyard areas expanded and local varieties - Mavrud, Melnik, Dimiat, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pamid, Gamza - were supplemented by proven foreign varieties. And, of course, the quality began to increase significantly - the best Bulgarian wines are comparable to the best Western European ones, while maintaining purely Bulgarian qualities - freshness, brightness, richness. Due to the rapidly growing popularity and demand for organic (bio) wines, many farms have switched to their production. We have selected the best of them. We recommend. We are sure you will appreciate them!
