Pairs well with: tagliatelle al prosciutto, shrimps in traditional spicy sauce with balsamic vinegar
Thea Bianco from Tre Monti presents an original and rich interpretation of the French Petit Manseng grape in the Romagna region. The work of the Navacchia family, based on a constant search for quality and experimentation, which is fully expressed in this label. A completely innovative version of an unusual grape in this Italian territory. The structure, freshness and remarkable dryness of this wine are able to guarantee it a good aging potential, which is not usual in white wines.
'Thea' di Tre Monti comes from Petit Manseng grapes from certified organic vineyards in Vigna della Lago, in Podere di Imola, 150 metres above sea level, on clay soils. Harvesting is carried out by hand at the end of October. Vinification is carried out in steel tanks after a preventive cold maceration overnight. This is followed by maturation in steel for at least 12 months before bottling and then marketing. Thus was born one of the most surprising and interesting wonders of the Imola region, a fusion of Romagna terroir and an unusual French grape.
Tre Monti 'Thea Bianco' has a generous, structured and engaging personality. A bright and intense golden yellow colour. The nose is immediately floral and explosive, with hints of acacia and notes of jasmine. The mouthfeel is creamy, velvety, dry, intense and enveloping, with a delicate freshness and a persistent finish with strong floral notes. An ideal pairing with the first courses of white meat or fish. Excellent to drink young, but can age beautifully if left to rest in the cellar for a few years. Capable of impressing and surprising sip by sip.
