A very aromatic wine with notes of dried peach, black tea, pear, full body and good tannins.
Pairs well zu: chachapuri with cheese or spicy sweet and sour Asian dishes such as curry
Grapes: Kisi (Qisi)
Kisi comes from Kakheti. It ripens before Rkatsiteli, usually in the last 2 weeks of September. Although almost extinct at the turn of the century, kisi has made a comeback in recent years and is a great example of what sparks this interest: orange wine.
And don't forget to save the wine for tasting the next day.
